MD Rabbi Alam

MD Rabbi Alam is one of the organizers of Million Muslim March on 9-11-2013. Alam, who is not a rabbi, was the Founder of the American Muslim Political Action Committee AMPAC, which supports 9/11 conspiracy theories. He has said that no Jews were killed in the attack.^[1]. Alam became nationally prominent on July 11th, 2012, questioning the 9/11 official story and became a voice for Muslim Americans claiming that "Muslims have nothing to do with 9/11"^[2]. Alam served as a DNC Caucus Chairman and was the Convener in 2012 at the Asian American Democratic National Convention^[3]. Alam served in the U.S. Army and is a former U.S. Army Sergeant, a Veteran of both the Iraq War and the Afghanistan War^[4]. Alam is a talk-show host at AMPAC Radio^[5]. Alam is the Director and a Producer of Millennium TV Michigan^[6]. Alam is an Interfaith Minister and a Muslim Imam & a Khatib and conducts Friday Sermons^[7]. In 2012, Alam ran for Missouri Secretary of State and was defeated by Jason Kander^[8]^{[circular reference]}. Alam is currently a candidate for Michigan State Representative from House District 4 and is running as an Independent; the general election is scheduled on November 3rd, 2020^[9]. Alam is the Convener of the organization representing the founding father of Bangladesh, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, known as the Bangabandhu Parishad USA, also known as the Bangabandhu Society of USA^[10]. Alam currently serves as a Statutory Vice Chair and Board Member of Michigan Democratic Party 14th District (2019-2021)^[11]. Alam has a Ph. D in Educational Computing from the University of North Texas, Denton, and a Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School^[12]
