mGBA is a free emulator of the Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance handheld game consoles, developed by Vicki Pfau.
History[edit]
As of fourth quarter 2022, mGBA is still under active development.[1]
Commercial use[edit]
Medabots Classics Plus, a compilation rerelease of several Medabots games on the Nintendo Switch eShop in November 2020, used mGBA code. Initially, the release failed to comply with the Mozilla Public License requirement to credit Pfau. This was discovered in May 2021, after which Pfau notified Nintendo of this copyright infringement.[2][3]
