Massimo Gallotta Productions Ltd (doing business as MGP Live) is an entertainment company headquartered in New York City that specializes in producing and promoting a wide range of live, multimedia music events. Since its 2006 founding by Massimo Gallotta.[1], MGP Live has promoted and produced live music events in venues including Radio City Music Hall, Dolby Theatre, Hammersmith Apollo, Palais des congrès de Paris, United Nations General Assembly. MGP Live produced the North American tour of composer Ennio Morricone.[2] More recently, MGP Live has produced live multimedia symphonic events including The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses[3], Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy and Assassin's Creed Symphony[4].

In 2006, Massimo Gallotta founded MGP Live in New York City and in February 2007, MGP Live produced and promoted the first-ever concert conducted by Ennio Morricone in North America at Radio City Music Hall. That same month, the concert was presented at the United Nations General Assembly Hall to welcome the new Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.[5]

In December 2008, MGP Live produced the first ever Patti Labelle and Labelle Reunion Concert tour which premiered at the Apollo Theater.[6]

In February 2012, MGP Live produced the Angelique Kidjo concert entitled “Raise your Voice to End Female Genital Mutilation” at the United Nations General Assembly Hall in cooperation with the Permanent Representative of Italy to the United Nations and UNICEF.[7]

Multimedia Symphonic Productions[edit]

Starting in 2015, MGP Live began presenting multimedia concert tours of video game soundtracks.[8]

MGP Live productions of The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses from Nintendo and Distant Worlds: Music From Final Fantasy from Square Enix concerts toured over 120 different international venues including Barclays Center in NY, Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, Wembley Arena and Apollo Hammersmith in London[9], and Palais des congrès de Paris.

Assassin's Creed Symphony[edit]

In 2019, MGP Live created and produced the multimedia Assassin's Creed Symphony licensed by Ubisoft[10] The concert toured North America and Europe.[11]
