MIDI music

MIDI music is a genre of music that utilizes MIDI. This usually refers to certain types of old school video game music, though MIDI is used widely even in modern recordings of various genres. In the late 1990s and early 2000s there was also an underground movement of hobbyists that sequenced and shared MIDI files of both their own original songs and popular songs.
