Career[edit]

MOONMOON Created his Twitch account and began streaming on April 6, 2016.[2]. He started playing Overwatch and soon started gaining popularity for his gameplay.[3] In 2017, in Overwatch, Moon played a match with popular Twitch streamer xQc He made his first appearance participating at Blizzcon 2017, playing games with Seagull, and Lassiz[4]. He went on playing Overwatch up until 2018. After his abandonment from Overwatch, he started variety gaming[5] A year later in 2019, MOONMOON joined a GTA rp server on Nopixel, creating a character named Yung Dab, which he played as for 3 months.[6] Following his abandonment with Overwatch, he removed the name _OW on Twitch on October 2019.[7] His artwork is created by an artist named Ailsa who on Twitter goes by the name of Poofy. Moon says he pays at least $80 for each emote used on his stream.[8] At one point in 2018, he had the highest peak viewership for Ultimate stream at 26,216.[9] On December 17, 2019 MOONMOON won a Twitch Community Choice Award for "Best Play" at TheGameAwards.[10] On September 2020, MOONMOON and another well-known Twitch streamer ClintStevens faced of a duel, competed to see who could score the highest points in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2's. Moon had 60 million points but lost at the end when Clintstevens earned 62 million points, and then to 82.5 million points 5 hours later. Moon later resigned from the competition.[11] In 2021, MOONMOON returned to Grand Theft Auto again, playing with a new character Lenny Hawk who is a police officer.[12] He currently has 1.1M followers on Twitch since March 6, 2022.[13][14] According to the top 20 leaderboards of the twitch payments leaks, as of 2021, his net worth is around $2.2M[15] Moon plays a variety of games such as[16][17] In April 2022, Moon returned to playing Overwatch again after being invited by Blizzard to try out the new sequel Overwatch 2 beta. He was asked what his thoughts were for Overwatch 2, to which he mimiced the chatter about his message. His response was “I have no thoughts because I haven’t thought about it at all. And I promise you, I won’t be thinking about it on stream either, sorry. A big part of my enjoyment of video games is being surprised and doing absolutely no extracurricular research. I don’t give a shit. I’m not here to discuss game theory motherfucker. I’m here to press my ultimate on people’s corpses.”[18] In December 2022, Moon said he was once invited to Mizkif's gameshow "Schooled", but turned down the invitation once he heard the YouTuber Dream would also be participating. Claiming he would face backlash from Dream's community if he makes a joke about him.[19] Moonmoon's steams would get an average of 15.4k viewers.[20]

Jesse was born on March 20, 1990 in the US.[21]He had a white cat and it's name was Eddie, who died in March 3, 2021.[22]He used to Live in Florida and Charlotte, NC.[23]
