Mama Machan (Also known as Mama Machan: Ithu Tamil Padaim; English: Brothers in Law, This is Tamil Movie) is a 2017 Malaysian Tamil-language comedy film. The film tells the misadventure story of two sneaky guys who call themselves Maama Machan, literally "Brothers in Law".[2]
It stars RMS Sara, BenG, Nithya Shree, Logan and P.Jegan. It was released in Malaysia on August 3, 2017. It is written and directed by RMS Sara.[3]
Synopsis
Kasi and Guru are close buddies who are involved in stealing bikes. In one particular occasion, they decided to sell a bike to Rao, a leader for a stolen bikes syndicate, in which during a negotiation an argument occurred, and they were not satisfied with the deal. This led to Michael, a right-hand man for Rao, entering into the picture to escalate the argument. But Rao decided to stick to the deal with Kasi and Guru, demanding to avoid any further arguments by sealing off the deal. But this leads to Michael's dissatisfaction and he sets out for revenge on Kasi and Guru.[4][5]
Soundtrack
The film's soundtrack is scored by RMS Sara. Meanwhile, the background sound is composed by Mansher Singh. The lyrics to the songs are written by Santhana. The film has 2 songs with an OST titled Maama Machan Title Track. The song Yenguthey, sung by Sri Shaila, became a big hit.
