Akoran ([Aghori] error: {{lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help))[1] is an upcoming Australian Tamil horror/thriller film written and directed[2] by R.Dinesh and produced by Sutharsan G & Raveendran Viththilingam. The film features R.Dinesh, Sutharsan G, Yanes, Nithia, Thenuga, Sujan, Thusha, Veronica in the lead roles, while other Australian actors amongst others form an ensemble cast[3]. Featuring music composed by Diipan Selvanayagam and cinematography handled by Sydney Prasath, Akoran will have a theatrical release in 2016. [4]

In late 2015[5], Sutharsan G and Raveendran Viththilingam has signed on to finance a full length feature [6] film to be directed by R.Dinesh. The filming began in January 2016 and was completed within four weeks. [7]
Diipan Selvanayagam from London, United Kingdom, who is a known singer and editor in and around Europe, was later signed onto compose music and to edit the film including special effects. Most of the casts were selected in Australia and some casts were from Malaysia. Sydney Prasath, who is an Australian Citizen, signed up to handle the cinematography. [8]
