Masoom Shankar is an Indian Model and Film Actress, who predominantly works in the Tamil film industry. She was born on 4 August 1992 and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She did her schooling in Ewing Christian Public School and college in Prayagraj. Alma Mater - Delhi University. She is also a pet lover and has a pet (dog) named Zorra, who is an influencer and has an Instagram page and has also become an influencer. Zorra gets invited to a lot of big events. There have been times[1]
EARLY LIFE
Maasoom was working off camera as an assistant director/ associate producer in Mumbai with the Hindi Film & Tv Industry, before making the switch to acting.
Career
Acting
She made her debut in the 2018 Tamil film Nagesh Thiraiyarangam alongside Aari. In 2019, she co-starred in the film 90ML, directed by Anita Udeep, which revolves around a gang of girls.[2] One interview during promotions of the film landed her the next film, Teddy (film), with Arya, directed by Shakthi Sounder Rajan.[3][4] The film was a sci-fi and one of a kind with the VFX work; it was well received by family audiences as it was released on the OTT platform Hotstar.[5] Maasoom also did a special appearance in Harish Kalyan’s film Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale, directed by Sanjay Bharathi.[6] Currently, she is filming for RK Productions’ second project with Santhanam[7] and one more with 'Shooting Star' with Dusshyanth & Ravi Kishan. She is also waiting for official announcements on other projects she has been roped into and been a part of.
Racing
Maasoom is also a car enthusiast and a racer. She has always had an interest in motorsports and tried her hand at driving every other vehicle back at home. She looks up to Tamil actor Ajith Kumar and was inspired to become a racer. Post lockdown in 2019, she was offered an opportunity with Team Dark Don Racing to get trained in LGB Formula 4 1300cc. After three training sessions, she is preparing to take part in the JK Tyre National Championship in 2022 at Kari Motor Speedway 2.0 in Coimbatore.
