(Maaz Moeed – معاذ معيد) is a Pakistani Playback Singer. He is popularly called as a melodious Voice (Surili Awaz). He is best known for his versatility, and is "an important contributor of Pakistan Music Industry. He gave Super Hit title songs like Chand Nikle Kisi Janib, Chahatoun ka Ashiya, Meri Akhri Mohobbat etc. 'Lab-e-Darya' was the first Drama Serial of Maaz as a Playback Singer, which was on aired in 2003-4 from Pakistan Television, under the banner of Moomal Production. Music Director Mr Niaz Ahmed introduced him as a playback singer and then after he has sung lot of songs and jingles for drama serials, commercials, Cartoon films etc with different well Known music directors of Pakistan. His first video song on aired in 2004 named Teri Paayal. in 2008 that song was No-1 in a Chart of Sony Entertainment India in a program (10 Pakistani Greatest - Volume) 'Aaja' is his first Music Album as a Front Singer, which released in Pakistan in 2008 on CDs in the label of ARY Musik Pakistan. His Ghazal (Title Song) Chand Nikle Kisi Janib Teri Zebai Ka is one of the best hit drama title song of Pakistan Television (PTV).

Maaz Moeed was born in Karachi. He is a Business Administration graduate from PIMSAT Karachi, Pakistan. Maaz wrote and composed his first song at 13 "Pucho Hum Se" and at 16, Maaz Moeed was invited to perform in Singing Competition Show on Pakistan Television Karachi Center in 1999 and he won first prize in that show. Maaz Moeed recorded his first song in 2002 named "Allahu" when he was 19 and from that song he introduced himself as a Singer/Songwriter & Composer. His First English Song is Never I fall in Love and from that song he Introduced his Western Vocals abilities and he also produced that song.
