Machinson Sisters
The Machinson Sisters were an early 20th-century Vaudeville act originating in England. Their most famous performance was heavily influenced by an early similar act by the notorious Barrison Sisters. In this, they would raise their skirts up above their stockings, revealing a bit of bare thigh, and then small kittens secured over the crotch of their undergarments, a play on the double entendre on pussy.
Their song while performing this act included the chorus:
- Would you give me the tip of it, the tip of it, the tip of it,
- Would you give me the tip of it, the tip of it, the tip of it,
- Because I've got a pussy cat
- Because I've got a pussy cat
- Who hasn't eaten that, that, that!
