Mad Ghost Productions is an American film and television production company founded in 2018 by Geoff Johns. Mad Ghost Productions has an exclusive writing and producing deal with Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment/DC Comics, allowing Johns to work on content for films, television, and comic books.

History[edit]

Geoff Johns announced the creation of the company after stepping down from his position as president and chief creative officer of DC Entertainment in June 2018. The company has an exclusive deal with Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment/DC Comics. Part of the DC Comics deal includes the "pop-up" imprint, The Killing Zone, which Johns will write for and curate.[1]

Killing Zone imprint and other comics[edit]

The Killing Zone imprint focuses on "new and lesser-known or dormant DC characters and titles".[1] Titles to be written by Johns include a new Shazam! series and the Three Jokers limited series.[1]
