Madeleine Cusack (28 October 1995 – 20 September 2023) was an English footballer who played for Sheffield United of the second-tier Women's Championship[2][3][4][5][6] and was a former English youth international.[7]
Cusack attended the University of Derby where she achieved a first class honours degree in marketing, public relations, and advertising.[citation needed] She went on to become a marketing executive at Sheffield United alongside her career as a footballer.[5]
Cusack died on 20 September 2023, at the age of 27.[8] At the time of her death, she was the longest serving player in the Sheffield United women's squad.[7]
