MadeinAmerica

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

MadeinAmerica.com is an annual trade show of American-made brands and is part of the Made in USA Movement.[1][2] It is a venture introduced by Don Buckner that focuses on American manufacturers and their products.[1][3][4][5] The first Made in America Trade show took place in 2019.[1][3][6]

History[edit]

Buckner purchased the domain name MadeintheUSA.com in 1996 after he failed to find any American-made products online.[7][8] He established the website as an online directory of American manufacturers and started the Made in the USA Movement.[7] He then set up the Vac-Tron Equipment as a division of the American Manufacturing, a virtual manufacturing company. After the success of this company, he decided to transform MadeintheUSA.com into an e-Commerce website.[7] The new initiative was launched on July 4, 2013, as a platform selling Ameican-made products.[7] He attempted to connect consumers with American manufacturers.[8]

He expanded his vision and Made in the USA Movement further and introduced a new venture MadeinAmerica.com in 2019.[9] The first Made in America Trade Show took place in the 450,000 square feet Indiana Convention Center on October 3rd-6th, 2019.[3][6] 300 vendors participated in the show.[1][2]
