Shastri Madhavpriyadasji is a Hindu saint of the Swaminarayan Sampraday sect and a disciple of Dharmajivandasji Swami, the founder of Swaminarayan Gurukul. He is a founder of Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Vishwavidya Pratishthanam Ahmedabad.
Early Life
Shastri Madhavpriyadasji completed his school studies in 1968 and then he went to Varanasi, India to study Vedanta Acharya [definition needed] at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University. He completed his studies with 6 gold medals and 6 silver medals in 1977.
Spiritual career
After completing his Sanskrit studies, he started doing katha.[definition needed] Swami organized a spiritual camp at Rishikesh in 2010. At Rishikesh he and his fellow saints practised spiritual activities such as dhyan[definition needed], anushthan[definition needed], dhun[definition needed], and aarti[definition needed]. He took part in many religious meetings.
