Madura English-Sinhala Dictionary (Sinhala: මධුර ඉංග්රීසි-සිංහල ශබ්දකෝෂය) is a free electronic dictionary service developed by Madura Kulatunga.[1][2][3][4][5] This is available in as a computer software,[4][5][6] online website[2][4][5][7] and android app.[4][5][8] This product contains over 230,000 definitions with technical terms from various disciplines.[1][3][4][5] This helps students and professionals in their academic and day to day work.[1][3][4][5][9][10] As of 2015, the dictionary has been downloaded approximately 1,000,000 times, across several platforms,[6][8] and is among the most visited sites in the world.[7] The dictionary is distributed as freeware.[4][5][6][8][9][10] Initially released on November 23, 2002.[4] However the dictionary database is originally developed and owned by Thibus.
