Dylan Barnett (born 1997), known professionally as Mafia Beatz, is an American music producer and Audio Engineer. He was first known for his work with Lil Windex & Lil Def and later as the founder of Firehouse Studios, a Chicago originated record label, network of recording studios and media agency. [1]
Career[edit]
2019-2021: Lil Windex Collaboration[edit]
In May of 2019, Dylan released his first notable production in collaboration with Canadian rappers Lil Windex & Lil Def.
2021-Present: Firehouse Studios[edit]
On June 12 2021, Dylan opened Firehouse Studios. Throughout 2021 and 2022 he produced for established Chicago based artists such as: El Hitta, TrenchMobb, Pronto Spazzout, Spenzo and 10k Kobee.
On April 20th, 2022 the Hip-Hop podcast No Jumper re-posted Dylan's production "Big Steppa" featuring Chicago artists Spenzo and Bigga$tate.
On October 31st, 2022 Dylan released his collaboration "Based Freestyle Chicago" with Lil B The Based God & Father Gabryel.
According to multiple sources, on December 19th 2022, Dylan announced the 2023 launch of Firehouse Studios Seattle, the newest addition to the Firehouse network of recording studios. [2]
On January 11th, Mafia Beatz single "TFMB" was featured on Lyrical Lemonade's blog. [3]
