Quotes[edit]
"As a matter of practice, I don’t 'do regret' because it’s a waste of energy"[10]
"...my children influenced my career choices from the moment they were born."[10]
"[Coming from Turkey] I didn't realize how cold Chicago was."[4]
"The biggest lesson I have to share is that it is always very very hard to start a company and win in the marketplace. You have to be ready to be told your idea is stupid and does not have a chance. Being ready for a lot of rejection is good training. With my first startup, I spent 2.5 years being told no by all my friends who were investors. We could not raise a penny. But that did not discourage me."[11]
Media[edit]
Magdalena is the author of Power UP! How Smart Women Win in the New Economy[12] and Creating the virtual store.[13]
She was the subject of a case study written by Myra M. Hart and Mary Rotelli, which was published by Harvard Business School in March 2000.[14]
She was featured on episode 6 of NextGen.Ninja as one of the Alpha Girls.[15]
