Maggi, Pierce and E.J.
Maggi, Pierce and E.J. or MP&E were an American independent band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that released nine albums between 1995 and 2008.[1] The members were Maggi Jane, Pierce Ternay and E.J. Simpson. The trio's music is eclectic in style[2] and includes folk music, country music, rock, power pop and psychedelic pop.[3] All three members were multi-instrumentalists and sang lead on various tracks.
The 2005 triple album Silver was co-produced by Phil Nicolo of the Butcher Bros.
Prior to MP&E, Ternay and Simpson were members of the early 1990s hip-hop group The Goats. After MP&E disbanded in 2009, Jane and Ternay formed the duo Hymn For Her.
