Magicrete is a Surat (Gujarat) based company which makes Autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) blocks.[1][2][3] The company was founded by Sourabh Bansal (graduate [[Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur|IIT Kharagpur]), SIdharth Bansal ((IIM Lucknow) and Puneet Mittal (Chartered Accountant)[4][5] in 2008 with a funding of 20 crore from an angel investor, Mr. Rajesh Poddar.[1] The company later raised funds of 35 crores (6.5 Mn USD) from Motilal Oswal Private Equity Advisors.[6][7] As reported in 2014, the company's revenue was INR 135 Crore.[1]
