Mahadev Shilpmandir is a temple at Deolane, Nashik district, Maharashtra. It is also accessible from Dhule and Malegaon as well. It was built in the 12th century by Shilahara king. The annual fair is held during Mahashivratri.
Structure[edit]
Tje temple is divided into three parts Porch, mandapa and sanctum.[1] The Pranala (water outlet) of the two extensions is beutifully carved out of single stone in the form of crocodiles. There are erotic sculptures on the outer walls of the temple.
History[edit]
The temple is believed to be built by Shilahara kings.
