Mahavatar Swami Bhai, also known as Victor Truviano, is an Argentine spiritual teacher known for his spiritual teaching.[1][2]
Early life
He was born in Argentina and gained recognition in alternative wellness and spiritual circles after claiming to have transitioned to a pranic or non-physical form of nourishment starting in 2007.[3]
Originally a professional violinist, Swami Bhai performed from a young age and was deeply engaged in classical music.[4] His life reportedly changed in his late twenties after a prolonged period of fasting, which he described as a deeply transformative experience. He ceased the intake of solid food and liquids, entering what he referred to as a meditative state of continuous awareness.[5]
He is recognized as a satguru, a title given to him by Shivakumara Swami, a highly respected figure in Indian spiritual traditions.[6]
Philosophy
Swami Bhai claims to have lived for several years without eating or drinking. He attributes his physical energy and well-being to a connection with prana, often described as life-force energy in various spiritual traditions. He also reports unusual experiences such as minimal sleep and natural healing processes, which he interprets as evidence of bodily regeneration.[7][3]He is known for his work in meditation and pranayama, and emphasizes these practices as essential tools for cultivating inner silence and advancing the journey of self-realization.[4]His teachings center around self-observation, spiritual awakening, and a heightened connection to universal energy. Swami Bhai emphasizes that his path is not one of denial but of aligning with a non-material source of nourishment and consciousness.[2][4]
Also, his Mahavatar Babaji Heritage is a spiritual lineage and organization which was established in 2019. It’s based on a direct transmission received from Mahavatar Babaji, separate from traditional institutional frameworks.[2]
He currently resides in South Korea and Russia, where he continues his teachings and hosts events on spiritual self-development.[citation needed]
