During the COVID-19 pandemic, the company temporarily suspended operations and sent its staff home.[5] Before the pandemic, the company had a clientele of over 200 and owned its primary assets.[5] Despite the halt in services, some clients continued their payments.[5]
By June 2020, the company resumed operations with an initial staff of 35, expanding to 40 by August.[5] Bermudez, along with her management team, guided the company's transition during this period.[5]
Maid to Clean is affiliated with Cleaning For A Reason and Association of Residential Cleaning Services International.[8]
