Maitha Al Khayat (Arabic:ميثاء الخياط), writer, painter, and an Emirati trainer in children’s literature. She was born in Ras Al Khaimah 1979, she graduates from Ras Al Khaimah’s Higher Collage of Technology, her major is Business Administration. Less than 10 years she achieved and published more than 160 emission for children.She had translated to English and Turkish language. Her story “my own way” she got the best book at the children’s forum in Riyadh 2011.[1][2]

Career[edit]

Maitha Abdul Wahab Hussein Al-Khayat, Author of children’s books and Emirati painter, she spent most her life in the United Kingdom and after she graduated from university she worked in the collage library, Her relationship with books began during her middle school studies in the UK and she continued, she wrote for  TV programs for children , like “Open semsame program“ they recently showed, and parts of the Emirati animation “Hamdoun”, she is also writing for “Eyal Art production“ company, her several writing dependable in some government school she shared her experience and secrets of writing in Abu Dhabi book fair 2020, and Dar Ashjar publication in Dubai 2016 .[3]
