Majid Khan (born, Doncaster) is a British Labour Party politician who has been a Councillor for the Doncaster Central ward of Bessacarr since 2015[1]. He was re-elected on 5 May 2017.[2] On Friday 19 May 2017 he made history when he was elected as the first ethnic minority Vice Chair of Doncaster Council and Deputy Civic Mayor of Doncaster.[3]

Khan was born and grew up in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. He has one older and two younger brothers.
He attended Wheatley Middle School and Hall Cross Comprehensive School.
Personal life[edit]
Khan is a Muslim and speaks Pothwari. He lives in Doncaster, South Yorkshire with his wife and two children. Khan is a brown belt in Jujitsu.
