Maker Nexus is a makerspace and not-for-profit organization in Sunnyvale, California, that teaches anyone how to create things using modern or classic tools.[1] In response to the closing of TechShop in 2017, former members organized to create Maker Nexus, which opened in April 2019.[2]

In 2020, Maker Nexus helped to stop the coronavirus by manufacturing and giving away over 80,000 pieces of critical personal protective equipment to health care workers across the United States.[3] [4] [5] [6] [7]
