‘’‘Mal Tatura’’’ was a shopping mall in Palu City. The mall was located on Jalan Emmy Saelan, in the village of Lolu Selatan, East Palu District. Established in 2006, Mal Tatura was occupied by Ramayana as its anchor tenant, supported by other outlets such as the Karisma bookstore and KFC restaurant. After 12 years of presence in Palu, the mall became one of the victims of the 2018 Sulawesi earthquake and tsunami on 28 September 2018. The earthquake caused quite severe damage to the mall and resulted in the permanent closure of the mall.
After abandoned for some time, the Mal Tatura building was demolished. The Palu City Government gave authority to PT Citra Nuansa Elok (CNE) and PT Aditama Karya Engineering to rebuild the mall, under the project name ‘’‘New Tatura Mall’’’. The groundbreaking was carried out on 20 April 2020. After one year of construction, the revitalization of the mall was delayed due to financial problems at PT CNE.
