Malmö Amateur Forum (MAF) (Swedish: Malmö AmatörteaterForum (MAF) is a non-profit[2] umbrella organization and playhouse for amateur theatre companies in Malmö, Sweden.[3]

The organization has three stages, rehearsal rooms, an office, ticket sales, costume wardrobe, workshop and theatrical property.[4] It is located on Torpgatan 21, Malmö.[5][6] Currently, it houses around 30 amateur theatre companies.[7][8]

History[edit]

In 1993 AMALIA was founded (Amatörteatergrupper i Malmö) as an umbrella organization for amateur theatre companies in Malmö. Two years later, Studioteatern declared bankruptcy and AMALIA was recreated as Malmö Amateur Forum (MAF).[9][10][11]
