Malta Boxing Commission International

The MBC International Championship, a joint venture between the Malta Boxing Commission Limited and New Jersey, USA based Group One Sports and Entertainment Consulting, was created in 2014.[1][2]

From day one, the MBC International Championship was created as an open championship, as such is not limited to any one region or country, but available to be competed for by boxers from any Country and at any location World-wide.

The MBC International Championship provides promoters a cost effective Championship for their events, as well as provide upcoming boxers an opportunity to compete for a high profile International Championship accolade, which will not just raise their profile but also move them up the rankings and into a position where they become eligible to compete for major titles.

The MBC International Championship is available for both Male and Female Boxers, the Male Championship bouts are over ten three minute rounds, whilst the Female Championship bouts are over ten two minute rounds.

Former IBF/WBO Inter-Continental and former WBO World title challenger Mark Prince challenges Czech Republic's Jiri Svacina for the vacant MBC International Cruiserweight championship at York Hall in London, UK on August 2nd.[3][4][5][6]
