Malte Wirtz

Malte Wirtz (born 1979) is a German film director, screenwriter and producer known for his award-winning 2015 comedy film Voll Paula!, which premiered at Kino Babylon. His debut film was the 2006 short film Behind fortune supported by FilmFernsehFonds Bayern[1]. His most well-received films include the comedy drama films Hard & Ugly (2017)[2] based on a Play (theatre) presented at Hebbel am Ufer (100 Grad Festival) and Only one day in Berlin (2018).[3] In 2020 and 2021 he shot the film Digital Life entirely on Zoom (software).[4] [5] He called this genre ZOGMA. [6] His upcoming film Gender Crisis is a Silent film scheduled to be released in september 2021 in Germany.[7]
