Samuel Amoah Boahene (born 27 April 1994) better known by his stage name ManLikeStunna.[1] (previously known as stunnakid), is a German Afrobeats singer and songwriter born and raised in Hamburg, Germany. He started his professional career in 2012, with the release of the hit single Shigege [2] with his long-time music partner Terry Osei[3][4]
Early life and music career
ManLikeStunna attended Schule beim Pachthof high school from 2006 - 2009. He started making music in his early school days at the age of 6, then joined the local church choir and started playing the drums. He recognised at an early stage in his life that his calling was to become a musician. Inspired by the likes of Bow Wow and Castro, he recorded his first studio song at the age of 14.
In 2012 ManLikeStunna formed the Ghanaians From Germany (GFG[5]) movement together with his friends, after they created new dance routines to Stunna’s own songs which included singles such as “Shigege” and “Come Closer”.
In 2019 ManLikeStunna independently released "24/7" EP then went on to sign his first record deal with Destiny Sounds. In 2020 he released his first EP "Mr Vibeman Vol.1"[6] under Destiny Sounds.
Leading up to 2020 ManLikeStunna has also shared the stage with some of the biggest Afrobeat stars including StoneBwoy, KingPromise, Kelvyn Boy, Kidi and Kuami Eugene.
