Manipulation is a Polish metal band formed on September 11, 2001. They played their first concert in 2003. They started playing together when they were young: 15, 16, and 17 years old. They played at many concerts and festivals.

History

In 2003, the band recorded and released their first live show, Live in Kotlownia. In 2005, they recorded their first demo, with three tracks. In 2006, Metal Centre and MZP Production released a cover of “R**K The Vote” in the CD Gods of Guts Tribute to Carcass.

Their first long-play album, The Future Of Immortality, was recorded in 2007, though it was never officially released. In 2011, to celebrate their 10th anniversary, they released the EP album Resurrection, which included a few of their old songs. During 2012, Manipulation played in Chicago.[1]

Between 2012 and 2013, the band released their Passion album with 10 tracks. This album was a turning point that received good reviews from music websites, music newspapers, and fans. The band made two related videos. One was for "Infinite Anguish" and the second was for "Unity". (The world premiere of this music video was on the Blank_Tv Youtube channel.) Also in 2013, the band won second place in the Poland Nationwide Rock music contest at the "Rockoleka" festival in Otroleka, Poland.

In November 2014, the band entered Monroe Sound Studio in Stargard Szczeciński (PL) to record its third full-length album, entitled Ecstasy. The producer was Polish sound engineer Arkadiusz "Aro" Jabłoński (Shadows Land, Masachist). Ecstasy was released worldwide on September 11, 2015, by Satanath Records. A guest solo on "Sunset Over the Vatican" was recorded by Jacek Grecki from Lost Soul. In autumn, the band toured in Poland with Empatic. The official video is available on YouTube and has more than 100,000 views. The track "Lifetime" from Ecstasy ranked #263 in Terrorizer magazine. In November 2015, the band made it to the finals of the Bilborock Festival in Bilbao and won second place in the metal category. At the beginning of 2016, the band signed with Ripping Family Booking and Promotion, and in November 2016, they would tour in Europe.
