Manish Chaudhary
Manish Chaudhury is an Indian Footballer who currently plays as fullback for Bengaluru FC and the India U-19 football team.
Career[edit]
Manish Chaudhary started off at the St. Mary's School Football Academy, before joining Bengaluru FC Academy in the U-15 side. He was soon scouted of the India U-16 side after his performances for Bengaluru in the Hero Junior League 2017-18 season. Following his call-up to the National Team, Manish was a part of the India U-16 side that was drawn alongside the likes of Indonesia, Iran and Vietnam in the AFC U-16 Championship 2018 in Malaysia. India qualified fornthe quarterfinals as the second-placed team in the group, where they lost by a narrow 0-1 margin to Republic of Korea.
Following the memorable performance at the AFC U-16 Championship, Chaudhary again participated in the Hero Junior League 2018-19 season for Bengaluru, where he scored 7 goals across the tournament, and 2 in the Final Rounds. His performances in the middle of the park helped the Blues make it to the final, where they eventually lost 0-2 to Minerva Munjab in Kalyani, West Bengal.
After a brief stint with the India U-19 National Team, Manish returned to his club to take part in the Hero Elite League, where he made 3 appearances in the Preliminary Rounds, before the competition was called off due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
