Maniv Mobility is an Israel-based venture capital firm that invests in startups in the automotive, transportation, energy, and logistics sectors.[1][2] The company was founded by Michael Granoff following the bankruptcy of Better Place.[3]

History[edit]

Maniv was founded in 2016 in Tel Aviv by Michael Granoff.

In 2017, Maniv invested $44M fund on Israeli automotive technology.[4][5] Among the backers of the fund were Jaguar Land Rover's InMotion Ventures, OurCrowd, and Valeo.[6][7][8] That same year, IVC Research Center ranked Maniv the fifth active venture investor in Israel.[9]

In September 2019, Maniv invested $100M fund on global mobility startups including Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, BMW, Lear, Hyundai Motor Group, LG Electronics, Shell Ventures, and Valeo.[10]

In November 2020, Maniv publicly invested in a Gulf-headquartered startup Fenix.[11]

In January 2021, Maniv was named by Business Insider among the top VC firms investing in autonomous vehicle startups.[12]

In 2024, Maniv raised $140 million fund and launched a new office in New York City.[13]
