Alexander Manuel Carvalho da Custódia (born October 3, 2001) is a Portuguese actor and model. He first gained recognition as an infant starring in two soap operas between 2002 and 2003, becoming the youngest actor to land a leading role on TV. [2] [3]
Custódia starred in América (2010), making his international movie debut with a leading role, playing the son of Chulpan Khamatova[4] and became best known nationally for his performance in Belmonte, nominated to an International Emmy Award[5] by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Due to his quick rise, Manuel was considered one of the most promissing actors in Europe during the 2000s. He decided to go on an indefinite hiatus in 2016.[6]
