Manzur Alam (born August 8, 1926) is an Indian-born Ugandan businessman, entrepreneur, industrialist and philanthropist.[1] He is the Chairman and founder of Alam Group, a privately owned conglomerate with interests in the building and construction industry.[2] He is also a founding member of the Uganda Manufacturers' Association, a business association representing the industrial sector of Uganda’s economy, which also advises the government of Uganda in the formulation of national and regional industrial policy.[3]
