Marc-Christian Riebe is a CEO and founder of The Location Group in Zurich. He is the author of two books.[2][3] There were successes[4][5][6] and stumbling blocks in his career.[7][8]
Biography
Marc-Christian Riebe, born in Constance, Germany in 1973, grew up in a family that owned a business.[9] At the age of 22, he completed his education as a real estate specialist and property broker.[10] He worked with Allianz Property GmbH in Munich.[2] After gaining an A-level degree in evening classes, he studied “European Finance & Accounting” and “International Business Finance” in Bremen (Germany) and Leeds (England).[1] Marc-Christian Riebe lives in Zurich. He is married and has a daughter.[2]
Career
After completing his studies, Marc-Christian Riebe worked in transaction support for the auditing firm of Ernst & Young in Mannheim and Frankfurt from 2002 to 2005.[11] In 2005, Marc-Christian Riebe founded The Location Group in Zürich, and is the current CEO of the company.[9] In 2006, the first editions of the Zurich Retail Market Report and Swiss Retail Market Study were published[12][13] by The Location Group.[14] In 2008, he established The Location Group's first offices abroad in Hanoi, Vietnam and West Hollywood, US.[15]
