Marc "The Machine" Lobliner (born November 22, 1980) is an American entrepreneur, YouTube personality, professional bodybuilder, author and current CMO of TigerFitness.com, as well as the current owner and CEO of MTS Nutrition and EthiTech Nutrition.[1]

Early life[edit]

As a child, Lobliner was overweight and suffered from bullying and witnessed his father die from a brain aneurism as a result of his bad eating habits. Lobliner started lifting when he was 14 years old and was a proficient football player at the high school level which would eventually allow him to attend California Lutheran University, but he dropped out. He later got a degree through Columbus University.

Career[edit]

Lobliner spent his college years working as a Personal Training Coordinator for Bally Total Fitness and was soon after recrited at Weider Publications where he spent 5 years in charge of Endemic Business Development and as a Senior Account Manager.[2] During this time he also acted as a marketing consultant for several companies. Prior to starting Scivation, Lobliner was a co-founder of, and served as Chief Marketing Officer for the Sylvester Stallone sports nutrition company, INSTONE, LLC.; the Senior Account Director for Shape, Natural Health, Living Fit, Muscle & Fitness Hers, Muscle & Fitness, Men’s Fitness, FLEX, Star, National Enquirer, Mira!, Shape en Espanol, Men’s Fitness en Espanol, Country Weekly, Auto World, NOPI Street Performance Compact, and AMI Specials, owned by American Media.

In 2004, Lobliner set out to create a new brand of bodybuilding supplements, his belief in branch chain aminoacids was so great that he traveled around the world educating individuals on the importance of BCAA during training and his Machine Fuel brand of supplements was born.[3]

Lobliner is an ACE certified personal trainer, is a former APF competitive powerlifter and national level NPC competitive bodybuilder, having won first place trophies in both the lightweight and light-heavyweight divisions, and most recently placing 13th in the light-heavyweight division at the 2010 Arnold Classic[4]

Lobliner has also co-authored 10 books on the subject of physique transformation, with titles such as, Game Over: The Final Showtime Cut Diet You’ll Ever Need, The Diet Solution: The NEW American Diet, C.H.A. (The Carb Haters Anonymous) Diet: The Final Answer on Carbless Bulking & Cutting, and The Lifestyle Cut Diet: The Final Diet You’ll Ever Need to Stay Lean and Healthy.

YouTube Personality[edit]

Marc Lobliner owns the YouTube channel TheTigerFitness where he posts videos on family, business, social life, nutrition and bodybuilding. As of 2015, TheTigerFitness has over 211,000 suscribers. TheTigerFitness has been described by DangerAndPlay as "YouTube’s best fitness channel".[5]
