Marc S. Martin is an American attorney. He is a partner at the law firm Perkins Coie LLP and chair of its communications industry group.[1]

Education

Martin received a bachelor's degree with distinction from Connecticut College in 1987. In 1991, Martin received a law degree, graduating cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law. In 1993, Martin obtained his LLM from Georgetown University Law Center with a focus in International and Comparative Law.[1]

Legal career

Practicing since 1991, Marc’s extensive legal experience includes work at the Federal Communications Commission, where he co-authored the first spectrum rules, as general counsel of three companies, including a publicly traded spin-off from Intel Corporation, and most recently as partner at Perkins Coie.[2]

Viewed as a preeminent legal expert in telecommunications law, Marc has been quoted in The Washington Post,[3] Wired,[4] USA Today,[5] The Associated Press[6] and other publications regarding net neutrality and other issues.
