Marcel Wayne Williams (August 20, 1970 – April 24, 2017) was an Arkansas death row inmate convicted of the 1994 kidnapping, rape, robbery and murder of Stacy Errickson (December 15, 1971 – c. November 20, 1994).[1] Errickson's body was found on December 5, 1994, six days after Williams was arrested.

Williams was executed on Monday, April 24, 2017, at 10:33 p.m., about three hours after fellow death row inmate Jack Jones, Jr., was executed. Arkansas' last double execution was of Mark Gardner and Alan Willett on September 8, 1999.[2][3]

Jones and Williams were among eight death row inmates scheduled for execution in April prior to the expiration of state's supply of a lethal injection drug, which was set for the end April 2017. The Arkansas governor scheduled the eight executions to occur over 11 days.[2][3]
