Dr. Marcellina Offoha is author and co-editor (along with Matthew Sadiku) of Ethnic and Cultural Diversity in America, a collection of essays bringing together a discussion on the multicultural and ethnolinguistic groupings of Nigeria.[1]

With a Ph.D in Sociology, Dr. Offoha has taught at several universities including Shaw University[2], Ithaca College[3], State University of New York, Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science, Temple University, and Morgan State University.[4]

The former president and regular keynote speaker for the National Igbo Catholic Community (ICCUSA)[5][6], Dr. Offoha currently works as an Associate Professor at the Federal University, Otuoke.[7] In 2015, Offoha began as acting Dean of Students for the Federal University[8] and served as the middleman between students and faculty during an infamous university housing dispute.[9][10][11]. Apart from administration work, Offoha also contributes to social and ethnic research, presenting papers internationally,[12] such as her research on the Bori cult in Northern Nigeria.[13]
