Marcus Loeber' (* April 29 1967 in Hofgeismar) is a German composer, pianist and music producer.

Loeber's musical style on the piano combines elements of musical minimalism, neo-classical and jazz, among others. His playing is characterized by a variable tempo or a complete lack of an exact measure. His concerts often feature extended improvisation.

Life and work[edit]

Loeber received a classical piano education. As a solo pianist, he released several albums of original compositions. In addition, he collaborates more often with other artists (for example Blank & Jones).

He is also a composer of film and commercial music, scoring about 900 commercials to date.

Awards[edit]

Loeber's works have been awarded, among others, the Cannes Lion at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival (Lufthansa 1999), the Clio Award (Smart Showcars 2003) 1) and several awards at the Art Directors Club since 1995.
