Marcus Parks
Marcus Parks, a native of Rochester, Texas, is the research-driven intellectual mastermind behind the content of the show. He spends up to 200 hours a week in his Pop-tart-powered Man Cave, scouring both print and online resources for every Interesting Fact available. His other interests include being interrupted by bearded Vikings, research (did we mention that?) and being a skinsman in various beat-rock combos.
Marcus is also the drummer of a band called The Cowmen.
Nicknamed "Dogmeat" by his best friend Henry "Too Real" Zebrowski, He has three masters in just science and two in advanced remedial.
Marcus has fond memories of his childhood in Texas including his love of digging holes, playing with bones, having badger paws hanging from his truck mirror, doing random things to make people laugh, and being valedictorian of his graduating class of 12 in high school.
Marcus' current interests and hobbies include eating pickles, researching for the episodes, digging holes, watching horror movies, listening to great music, playing in his band, touring with the Last Podcast cast, and having bones decorate his apartment.
In 2019, Marcus Parks announced that he was engaged to his girlfriend Carolina and the two married towards the end of the year.
Marcus Parks and Carolina Hidalgo own a dog together named Georgie (likely referencing the character from Stephen King's IT).
Marcus currently hosts several podcasts including Last Podcast on the Left, No Dogs in Space which he hosts with his now-wife Carolina, Sex and Other Human Activities that he hosts with Henry's sister, Jackie Zebrowski. He used to host the Round Table of Gentlemen with Ben Kissel.[1]
