Margaret (Maggie) FitzPatrick previously served as vice chair of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities. She was nominated by the DC Mayor and approved unanimously by the DC Council. She completed a three-year term in 2023. In February of 2024, President Joseph R. Biden nominated her to serve a six-year term as a Council Member of the National Council on the Humanities. An accomplished business executive, she serves on the board of directors of two NASDAQ listed companies. She also provides coaching to existing boards as an expert faculty member for the National Association of Corporate Directors. She previously worked in the c-suite of multiple leading global Fortune 100 companies.
