Margaret Namulindwa Kigozi, (née Margaret Namulindwa), is a Ugandan, businesswoman and corporate executive at Standard Chartered Uganda (SCBU). She is the head of corporate affairs, brand and marketing at the bank. She took up her current assignment on 25 November 2021. Before that, she was the head of marketing for Uganda, Ethiopia, Mozambique and the Horn of Africa at Coca-Cola. She was based in Kampala, Uganda's capital.[1][2]
Background and education[edit]
Namulindwa was born in Uganda c. 1980. After attending local primary and secondary schools, she was admitted to Makerere University, Uganda's largest and oldest public university. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Development Studies. Later, she obtained certification and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing of the United Kingdom.[1][2]
Career[edit]
At the time she joined Stanchart Uganda in 2021, her professional career extended back over 18 years. She is considered an expert in the areas of sales, marketing and corporate communications and is capable of growing both local and international brands. She has been reported to build teams and effectively lead those teams to "consistently grow revenue and market share".[2][3]

Margaret Namulindwa Kigozi is a married woman.[1]
