Maria Fernanda Amorim (born 1935) is the widow of the owner of Corticeira Amorim Américo Amorim.[2]

Maria Fernanda Amorim and her three daughters inherited the fortune in 2017, after the death of Américo Amorim. The Portuguese businessman owned Corticeira Amorim and invested in an energy company and banks in several countries. He also owned around an 18% stake in Portuguese oil and gas company Galp Energia.[3][4]

Maria Fernanda Amorim is a founder of the museum of wines in Porto and the museum in Grijó, dedicated to arts and crafts.[2][5]

Maria Fernanda Amorim and her family made the 2022 Forbes Billionaires List with an estimated wealth of $4.7 billion and occupied the 601th position.[2]
