Nyemba (born Maria Nyemba 27 March 1986) is a Zambian singer and songwriter.[1] Well known for her songs and music video Mutima Wanga.[2][3] Nyemba also shared her stage with Fally Ipupa and Zahara.
Early Life and Career
Nyemba was born to a Zambian family to Anderson Nyemba, who worked in the Zambian Army, and Monica Nyemba, who worked for the council. Nyemba always wanted to be a singer. At the age of 16, she met well-known Zambian music star Winston Moyo and sang for him, and featured on 3 of his songs on his album. She got introduced to Ikonik Music management in the year 2014 and she is to release her debut album titled ‘Mutima Wanga’ under Ikonik Music (record label).
