Maria Shandi (born November 20, 1988) is an Indonesian contemporary Christian music singer-songwriter. Nowadays, she often serves along with his father, Pdm. Suwandi, who is a speaker and songwriter.[1]

She began studying piano at 5 years old and vocals at the age of 11 years. She began his service in the Sunday school at the age of 11 years, as a singer, keyboard player, worship leaders and Sunday school teachers. And at the age of 15 years stepped on, she began to join in the community of young people and serves as a singer and keyboard player.

She released his first album "Sentuh Hatiku" (Indonesian: "Touch My Heart") in December 2007. In late 2008, she received an award as the best female singer of Indonesian Gospel Music Award. In addition, the album "Sentuh Hatiku" also received an award as the best-selling album and best song that year. Some of the songs in the album 'Sentuh Hatiku' also became the spiritual patron lullaby and FTV on RCTI. The songs include Sentuh Hatiku, Dia Mengerti, Mujizat itu Nyata, Menanti KeajaibanMu, Sejauh Timur dari Barat, Kau Mengenal Hatiku, Kupercaya Janji-Mu.

In April 2009, she released his second album entitled "Kupercaya JanjiMu" (Indonesian: "I Believe in Your Promise"). In this album, she collaborated with Mike Mohede, winner of Indonesian Idol, sang "Tuhan Pasti Sanggup". The song "Kupercaya JanjiMu" written by Liliana Tanoesoedibjo would be the theme song in an Easter reality show on RCTI in 2009.

In late 2009, she released a Christmas album as his third album titled "Christmas in My Heart". This album contains 8 Christmas songs in English and Indonesian.

Her fourth album was released in May 2010 under the title "Masih ada Tuhan" (Indonesian: "There is no God"). In this album, she collaborated with some of the spiritual singers, among others Mike Mohede, Jason "Sentuh Hatiku", Angel "Idola Cilik", and Edward Chen. In this album, in addition to CDs, there is also a VCD as a bonus to the buyer. This VCD contains video clip of Maria Shandi. The concept of this album is invited every listener to continue to believe and hope in God even though it looks like there is no way. However, still believe that He is able to restore our lives.

She released the album "Kasih Tuhan" (Indonesian: "Love of God") which is the fifth album by the middle of 2012. The album contains 12 songs that tell about the love and goodness of God.
