Marina BerBeryan is an American celebrity fashion stylist, journalist and television personality based in Hollywood, California. She is also a judge for Los Angeles Fashion Week.[1][2] Additionally, she is the brand ambassador of CPAP Store USA.[3]
Background
Marina BerBeryan was born in Yerevan, Armenia. Her mother is Ukrainian and her father is Armenian. BerBeryan had her first sewing lesson at age six. When she was ten, she moved to the US and was raised in Hollywood. In 1996 she was Miss Junior Teen New York. BerBeryan lives in Hollywood with her husband and three children.[4]
Career
Before she became a stylist, BerBeryan worked in the financial department for the City of Burbank. She also worked as senior executive financial administrator at Comforce Corporation. BerBeryan styles celebrity clients for red carpet events.[4] including the Academy Awards, the Grammys, and Palm Springs International Film Festival.[5] She also works with private clients. Celebrity clients BerBeryan has worked with have included Jimmy Carter,[6] Claire Danes, Armenchik, Jaimie Hilfiger,[7][4] Carissa Rosario,[8] Heart Hays,[9] Tara Buck[10] 50 Cent[11] and two Victoria’s Secret models Alessandra Ambrosio and Behati Prinsloo along with other celebrities.[12]
Marina BerBeryan is the Editor-in-Chief and Founder of LAFashionJudge.com, a fashion news site and digital magazine.[2]
In 2011, BerBeryan styled all 15 contestants of Miss Exotic World beauty pageant.[13] BerBeryan is a fashion editor for Splash Magazine[14][15] as well as Hat Trick[15] and Los Angeles Fashion Examiner. BerBeryan’s work has been featured on E!, Yahoo!, Pageant Magazine, MF Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Apparel News, ABC News and Tehran Magazine.[4]
Philanthropy
Sima’s Wish is a foundation BerBeryan founded to benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation in dedication to her mother-in-law.[16][7] She also helped her children establish Kids Helping Kids which benefits the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.[7] Other charities she supports include NOH8 Campaign,[7][17] the Lancaster Opera House, the American Heart Association, S.A.F.E., Project T.O.U.C.H., We Care for Humanity, and Armenian Telethon.[7]
