Mark Anthony Aguas Calixto is a Filipino businessman and politician. He currently serves as the vice mayor of Pasay since 2025. He previously served as councilor from 2016 until 2025.
Early life and education
Mark Anthony Calixto was born in Pasay. He completed his elementary and high school education at Colegio San Agustin. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce, major in Marketing at San Sebastian College – Recoletos.
Political career
Councilor of Pasay (2016-2025)
Calixto was elected as councilor of Pasay from its 1st district in 2016. He was re-elected in 2019 and 2022, serving three consecutive terms.
Vice Mayor of Pasay (2025-Present)
In 2024, he declared his intention to run as vice mayor.[1] He switched seats with then-Vice Mayor Waldetrudes del Rosario.[2] He won the elections against former councilor Arvin "Okidocbong" Tolentino.[3][4]
Personal life
Calixto is the son of Rep. Antonino Calixto and Edna Dayrit Aguas. He is married to Jennifer S. Calixto and has three children: Kevin Markus, Kobie Mackenzie, and Kowen Marco.
