Mark Daigneault born c. 1986 is an American basketball coach, currently serving as an assistant for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

College career[edit]

University of Connecticut[edit]

Daigneault began his coaching career while as an undergraduate student as a student assistant with the Connecticut Huskies men's basketball under the guidance of the legendary Jim Calhoun. His responsibilities were overseeing individual workouts, video analysis and opponent scouting reports.

Holy Cross[edit]

On September 6, 2007 the Holy Cross Crusaders named him as their assistant coach.[1]

University of Florida[edit]

Billy Donovan previously served as the head coach of the Florida Gators Daigneault worked for him. While Daigneault was his assistant his teams had a 120-30 record (.800), competing in the Elite Eight each of the seasons.[2] In April 2015 Donovan would become the head coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder beginning with season 2015 season.[3] This reunited the former colleagues.

Professional career[edit]

On August 22, 2014, the Oklahoma City Thunder named Mark Daigneault as the head coach of the Oklahoma City Blue, replacing Darko Rajaković. On February 17, 2016, he joined the Thunder coaching staff, this time as an assistant for Billy Donovan for the rest of the 2015–2016 season.[4]
